이황 미발론의 정신과 심화 양상 = The Outstanding Characteristic and the Deepening Process of Weifa(未發) Concept in Toegye school

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This article aims to investigate the characteristic and the transfer of weifa(the situation of mind without emotional trembling) concept in Toegye school. Just a few articles about Toegye weifa concept were written out, but those could not get out of the elementary research, because our research history is short and insufficient. As a result, we can find out the fact that our understanding of this concept is deficient, especially about the concept of perceptual awareness(知覺) and the difference between perceptual awareness with classificatory thinking(思慮). So I attempted to keep close watch on various usages of perceptual awareness, in consequence I wished to make clear the existence of perceptual awareness without classificatory thinking, in addition, the perceptual awareness of weifa is the perceptual awareness without ego-consciousness and mental possession. Continuously I proposed that Toegye`s severe concern on Weifa was the wish of illumination to human innate good mind that can perceive Li(理) as innate nature as it is. His viewpoint is contrasted with Yulgok`s viewpoint focusing on individual mental appearance. Some representative scholars among his successors used the method of synthesis(渾淪), for the sake of the development on theory of human good mind, and Jeong Si Han, Yi Jin Sang, Yi Jin Sang were great masters in this field.
