외국인 어머니를 둔 유아의 유아교육기관 적응행동에 영향을 주는 요인에 관한 연구 = A Study on Factors that Affect the Adaptive Behavior in Kindergarten of Children from Foreign mother's Families

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to closely examine what kinds of problems the children in the Foreign mother's Families encounter as growing in the Korean society and what factors have impacts on being adaptive in kindergarten. First of all, the socio-demographic features and socialization factor were investigated in order to identify the life of children from the Foreign mother's Families in the kindergarten. Next, how those factors have impact on the adaptive behavior in kindergarten of children from Foreign mother's Families were examined. For achieveing the objectives of this study, the data was collected from the parents and teachers of the children from Foreign mother's Families Surveying questionnaires and questionnaires. The analysis was conducted by the technical statistics, factor analysis and the regression analysis. As a result, the higher the Korean skill of a child from Foreign mother's Families, the less the personal description problems and social interaction were observed. Furthermore, the children with lower culture adaptation stress, more fluency in Korean, less awareness on the difference from other friends and less experience to be left out in the cold by the classmates showed less problems in terms of the environmental adaptation. The results of this study will be the reference for preparing the proper support plan for the children from Foreign mother's Families.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 외국인 어머니를 둔 유아들이 한국 사회에서 자라면서 어떠한 문제를 겪고 있는가를 면밀히 살펴보고, 어떠한 요인들이 그들의 유아교육기관 적응에 영향을 미치는가를 분석하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 면담과 설문지를 통해 외국인 어머니를 둔 자녀의 부모와 교사로부터 자료를 수집하였으며, 기술통계, 요인분석, 회귀분석을 통해 분석하였다. 그 결과, 외국인 어머니를 둔 유아의 한국어 실력이 더 높을수록 개인적 기술 문제와 사회적 상호작용문제가 적게 나타나는 것으로 나타났으며, 문화적응 스트레스를 적게 받을수록, 한국어를 잘할 수록할수록, 외모가 다른 친구들과 차이가 없다고 생각하는 유아일수록, 친구에게 따돌림 받은 경험이 적을수록 환경적응문제가 적게 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 다문화 가정 유아를 위한 적절한 지원방안을 마련하는데 본 연구의 결과를 참고할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
