어머니와 교사의 정서표현성과 유아의 친사회적 행동과의 관계 = The relationship between Mothers' and Teachers' Emotional Expressiveness and Children's pro-social behaviors

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between mothers' and teachers' emotional expressiveness, and children's pro-social behaviors. Participants were 77 kindergarten children(39 boys and 38 girls) of four and five years and their mothers and teachers. Mothers and teachers completed the Family Emotional Expressiveness Questionnaire, and children's pro-social behaviors were evaluated using a Korean translation of the Skill Situation Measure. Results showed that mothers' positive expressiveness significantly predicted children's emotion regulation and interpersonal interactions. But, teachers' positive expressiveness significantly affected only children's school adaptation. In particular, the influence of mothers' expressiveness on children's pro-social behaviors varied with children's gender. Mothers' positive expressiveness was significantly accounted for boys' interpersonal interactions, but not for girls'.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 어머니와 교사의 정서표현성이 유아의 친사회적 행동에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 서울시와 경기도에 소재한 유아교육기관에 재학 중인 만 4, 5세 유아 77명(남아39명, 여아38명)에게는 친사회적 행동검사를 실시하고, 그들의 어머니 및 담임교사를 통해 정서표현성을 묻는 설문지 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 어머니의 정서표현성은 유아의 개인정서 조절능력 및 대인관계 형성능력과 유의한 영향이 있는 것으로 나타났고, 교사의 정서표현성은 유아의 유치원 적응능력에만 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니와 교사의 정서표현성은 남아의 경우에는 전체 유아 집단에서와 같이, 어머니의 정적 정서표현성이 개인정서 조절능력 및 대인관계 형성능력에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으나, 여아의 경우, 어머니의 정적 정서표현성과 부적 정서표현성이 개인정서 조절능력에만 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 교사의 정서표현성이 유아의 친사회적 행동에 미치는 영향은 유아의 성에 따라 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과들로 어머니와 교사가 유아의 정서적 사회화에 주요한 영향을 미치는 대상임을 시사한다.
