몽골 한국어 교육과정의 현황 및 발전 방향 = The Status and Development of Korean Language curriculum in Mongolia

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The curriculum of Korean language in Mongoliais generally divided into 3 types and the Korean language curriculum in universities/colleges is considered as the most developed, so that kind of curriculum is mainly studied hereby.
First of all, as we consider of main purpose of the Korean language curriculum in university/colleges, the standard documents for training provides that…upon the graduation from the 4-year studies, a Korean language department student shall obtain ability and knowledge of the level-3-4, which is the medium level of the Test of Proficiency in Korean language(TOPIK). This level is based on the example of a student, who starts the Korean language from the beginner’s level and continues the training for 4 years in non-Korean spoken circumstances. Even though such leveling matter is appreciable, at the same time, there are still necessities to make more detailed review on main purpose of the curriculum as well as to put them into proper order.
According to the curriculum contents in 10 of universities/ colleges for Korean language, the language teaching mainly consist of subjects, giving 4 of language skills and language knowledge and Korean studies. Although such condition is unlikely to be differed, we highlight the needs of processing the curriculum that accurately considers the followings- features of each school or faculty, interconnection of specialized subjects and the proper orders; and activate such kind of research works in the future. Today, because the curriculum contents of the most universities/colleges are not open and which was the problem, is indefinite, furthermore there are needs of making more researches based on class trainings.
As of the method of curriculum, the question on training materials is mentioned. Those include, apart from development of materials, proposals of assessment and widely using of materials in training.
