한,미 대학상담 기관 운영 실태 비교 = A Comparative Study on Managing College Counseling Center between Korean and American Universities

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study compared managing systems of college counseling centers between Korean and American universities. The research samples were 10 college counseling centers in Korean and American Universities. From 16 internet websites, several telephone calls, and interviews of 8 counselors who worked in these college counseling centers, the data were gathered and analyzed concerning establishment goal, type of institution, number and qualification of counseling staffs, degree of counselors, major job and services, number and contents of programs, and popular and special programs of centers. Establishment goal and type of institution were similar but the amount of staffs, contents of programs and the counseling training program`s system were different. Through the results, the implications, future directions for research and limitations were discussed.
