어머니의 우울과 어머니가 지각한 부부관계가 자녀의 문제행동에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 -어머니 양육행동의 매개효과를 중심으로- = The Influence of Mother`s Depression & Marital on the Problem Behavior of their Children: Maternal Parenting Behaviors as a Mediator

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of mother`s depression and marital relationship on the problem behavior of their children, especially to verify the mediating effect of maternal parenting behaviors. The subject of this study were 1,067 mothers who had children enrolled at elementary school in Seoul. The analytical instruments included the Korea Child Behavior Check List (K-CBCL), Korean Dyadic Adjustment Scale(DAS), depression scale(CES-D) and the Parental Acceptance-Rejection Questionnaire(PARQ). The research question was as follows: Did the maternal parenting behaviors have a mediating effect on the mother`s depression, marital relationship, and the problem behavior of their children? The results showed that maternal parenting served a partial mediating role between mother`s depression and their children`s problem behaviors, and a complete mediating effect between marital relationships and the childdren`s problem behaviors. This study found that these three variables had a mutual influence on the children`s problem behavior.
