가정해체의 실태 및 해체가정아동을 위한 정책방안에 관한 연구 = Realities of Family Disorganization and Suggestion of Policies for Children in Disorganized Family

The purpose of this study is to comprehend the realities of family dissociation that has been taking place in our society nowadays, through examining the reason, rate, and trend of family disorganization. Also, this study intend to suggest the possible polices to support and help the children in disorganized family. The family disorganization by intentional factors such as divorce, separation, or leaving home of spouse are recently increasing more and more. In 2004, the rate of divorce is still high even though it showed a little decrease when compared with its rate of 2003. In the case of male, the divorce in 35~44 years old is higher than the other ages, and the 30~39 years old is higher in female. At the time the divorce were done, 65.5% of the couples have the children less than 20 years old. Discrepancy of personality between spouses is the major reason of their divorce. This study suggested the possible policies to help the children in disorganized family and to solve or mitigate their problems, such as supplementation in the procedure of divorce by agreement, solidification of parent`s obligation and role, economic supports for the disorganized family, extension of education and care services for the children in the disorganized family, development of alternative care service for them, and strengthening of counseling service for family and children.
