청소년 폭력피해의 원인에 대한 연구 = A Study on Factor of Violent Victimization Among Adolescents

This study examined the effect of violent offending and peer of violent offending on violent victimization over time. To this end, This study used longitudinal data from 2004 to 2009 Korea Youth Panel Survey(KYPS) for elementary school students. For the analysis, Latent growth model was applied. The results of the study were as follows. The initial level of violent offending and peer of violent offending affected the initial level of violent victimization. And these independent variables separately affected violent victim. A influencing factor in change of violent victimization was interaction effect between violent offending and peer of violent offending. The interaction effect on violent victimization had a large influence in low level of violent offending. In contrast, in high level, peer of violent offending had not affected violent victimization. This result showed that violent victimization couldn``t explained in sole cause, suggested that violent victimization could be explained in different ways, depending on the certain situation.
