사진 예술에서의 페르소나적 표현 연구 = Study of expression persona in photograph

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aspect of picture that it can be used as a tool to express persona became the main factor which inspires modern artists. On the contrary to early artists in the history of photography who had tried to express the internal of the image from just taking one`s picture and recording it , modern artists cognize that the inner of oneself expressed in photograph has been manipulated. And inversely, by analogizing the outcome those kind of manipulations and directions can bring or by analogizing the motive why those manipulations have been made , they try to explore about relation between photograph and society and relation between photograph and individual. The next five artists that would be introduced try to explore peculiarity of persona in their own way. On this thesis, by examining how property of persona has been used in each artist`s work through various artworks, defines the relationship between photograph and persona and contemplates the role of modern photography. In introduction, verbal contents such as background and necessity of this study and range and method has been mentioned. In main body of the thesis, there are contents of progress and development of portrait photograph, definition of persona and study of photograph expression of persona which is seen through five artists. In conclusion, these processes are estimated and synthesized to propose inspiration for various expression of photography and significance of this study.
