어린이집 교사의 직무만족도 및 소진이 유아의 정서지능과 사회성에 미치는 영향 = The Effects of Childcare Center Teachers' Job Satisfaction and Burnout on Young Children's Emotional Intelligence and Social Ability

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 보육교사의 직무만족도와 소진이 유아의 정서지능과 사회성에 미치는 영향을 규명하였다. 자료 수집을 위해 총 210명의 보육교사에게 설문지를 배포하였으며 이 중 152부를 최종분석대상으로 하였다. 자료 분석 방법으로는 평균, 표준편차, 상관분석 및 단계적 중다회귀분석이 사용되었다. 분석결과 보육교사의 직무만족도와 소진은 서로 부적 상관관계에 있으며, 이들 두 변수는 유아의 정서지능과 사회성 발달에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 구체적으로, 직무만족도 중 보수, 학부모와의 관계, 동료와의 관계는 유아의 정서지능에 정적 영향을, 소진 중 냉소는 부적 영향을 미쳤으며, 직무만족도 중 학부모와의 관계, 사회적 인식은 유아의 사회성에 정적 영향을, 개인 성취감 소진 정도는 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 따라서 정서적으로 유능하고 건강한 유아의 발달을 위해서는 보육교사의 직무만족도를 높이고 소진을 낮출 수 있는 제반 환경구축을 위한 지원 노력이 선행되어야 할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of child care center teachers' job satisfaction and burnout on young children's emotional intelligence and social ability. The subjects of this study were 152 teachers and their students from public, corporation and private child care centers. Mean, standard deviation, Pearson's correlation and stepwise multiple regression were used to analyze the data.
The results showed that child care center teachers' job satisfaction and burnout level were negatively correlated and the two variables had an influence on children's emotional intelligence and social ability. Specifically, a higher level of job satisfaction tended to have a positive influence on children's emotional intelligence and social ability while a lower level of burnout had the same effect on children's emotional intelligence and social ability. The results indicate that the workplace environment of child care center teachers should be improved in order to foster the healthy development of children's emotional intelligence and social ability.
