The world civil aircraft industry has shown fast recovery after the great recession. The backlog of commercial aircraft has reached 10,729 a/c with Airbus and Boeing recording an all time high of 9,055 pre orders which is more than 7.5 years of current production rate. With the large backlog and the strong attempt to refresh airliners fleets, the manufacturers invest the production lines. But the small general aviation shipment remains collapsed while the turboprop recovers due to the high efficiency. For long term forecasting, the air traffic will be increased by 4.6%~5.0% annual growth rate while the worlds middle class increases, especially in the emerging countries. During the next 20 years, about 34,000 civil aircraft will be delivered and 28,000 a/c of them will be the commercial aircraft..
