한미동맹 60년, 성과와 미래 발전방향 = Sixty Years of the ROK-U.S. Military Alliance: Achievements and Future Development

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The year 2013 marks sixty anniversary of the ROK-U.S. military alliance. This article purports to assess the achievements and implications of the ROK-U.S. alliance and to discern challenges and strategic approaches for future development. Followed by analysis on the current situation of the ROK-U.S. alliance under the Park Geun-hye government, some political issues on the part of the U.S., which can be expected to have some important bearing on the alliance, were analyzed. Current affairs of, and strategic approaches on the part of South Korea to develop the ROK-U.S. alliance were also discussed.
