Self-study를 통한 실천공동체의 학습문화 = Learning Culture of Learning Community in Self-study

The purpose of this study is to analyze the professional learning community case, A university in Korea and get the learning culture implications to higher education. For this purpose, first, the theory of professional learning community, especially the historical development and characteristics, was examined. Secondly, the professional learning community case, A university, was analyzed, based on the 4 learning culture properties of the professional learning community, ① shared values and vision, ② collective learning and application of learning, ③ supportive condition, ④ shared personal practice regarding self-study. The main findings of this study are as follows: First, the staff including lecture need to support the development of learning community of the people in charge of the school education and nurture the collegial relationship with them. Second, learning activities need to be done by collaborative approach, with hiring learning community of practice guide. Third, The vision and goal of learning culture need to be set up by participation of all of the people in context. Finally, the implications of learning community on professional development were discussed.
