해외파병군인의 외상후 스트레스장애(PTSD)에 관한 연구

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The National Vietnam Veterans Readjustment Study (NVVRS) records showed detailed information of the psychosocial status of overseas-dispatched soldiers. The data also contained responses to several diagnostic mental health questionnaires as well as the results of psychological testing an clinical evaluations. At the result, the level of overseas-dispatched soldiers’ mental health was the inferior conditions such as the post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms.
PTSD is an anxiety disorder associated with serious traumatic events and characterized by such symptoms as survivor guilt, reliving the trauma in dreams, numbness and lack of involvement with reality, or recurrent thoughts and images.
The study was to examine psychological characteristics associated with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms among overseas-dispatched soldiers.
Overseas-Dispatched Soldiers is widely recognized as one of the most dangerous and stressful occupations. Overseas-Dispatched Soldiers works are frequently exposed to potentially traumatic situations, such as explosions, terror etc. It can make Overseas-Dispatched Soldiers at risk for developing post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD).
The purposes of this study were to understand the PTSD in Overseas-Dispatched Soldiers on the basis of the status of Overseas-Dispatched Soldiers in cases. And the correct perception and approach that helps to provide direction for ways to explore.
