    The purpose of this study is to examine whether there exist differences in undergraduate students’ academic self-efficacy, class satisfaction, and academic achievement depending on their higher or lower levels of English proficiency and active class participation, and to see the influences of their English proficiency and active class participation on academic self-efficacy, class satisfaction, and academic achievement. For this study, 155 students were sampled from an English medium class of an university located in Seoul, Korea, and English proficiency test and survey were done. And, other information such as course exam scores was also collected after the class ended at the end of the semester. The study result shows that; ① The differences exist in students’ academic self-efficacy, class satisfaction, and academic achievement in accordance with the higher or lower levels of students’ English proficiency and activeness of class participation, ② When both cognitive and affective domain skills of students are high enough, their scores are highest in their class satisfaction and course achievement, ③ Active class participation of undergraduate students has an positive influence on their class satisfaction, ④ It is revealed that the English proficiency is still one of strongest factors influencing students’ class satisfaction and academic achievement in English medium class. In conclusion, educational strategies and policies for English medium instruction of Korean universities are recommended based on the results in this study.
