      This study intended to examine the relationship between happiness of early childhood teachers and capability to serve as a teacher. This study surveyed happiness, capability to serve as teacher of 514 early childhood teachers, and opinions of 235 principals about the teacher`s capability to perform their role in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Busan and Gyeongnam. Collected data were analyzed by SPSS 17.0 and detailed data process methods are correlation analysis, simple regression analysis, stepwise multiple regression analysis, and F-test. The following is the results of this study. First, there was significant relationship between happiness and capability to serve and the sub-factors of happiness and those of satisfaction with capability to serve as teacher also had significant relationship. Second, happiness had signification relations with teacher`s capability to perform their role from the perspective of principals.
