전문성 연구의 주요 쟁점과 전망 = Critical Research Issues and Future Directions in Expertise Research

The purpose of this research was to analyze approaches and critical issues in expertise research, explore new approach, and suggest future research directions and agenda. Expertise research was classified into traditional approach and expert performance approach. Critical research issues in expertise are identified as definition of expertise, componential elements of expertise, measurement of expertise, transferability of expertise, and time length to develop expertise. New approach to expertise research was suggested as expertise development approach. New research agenda in expertise development research include integrative framework to analysis expertise, life-long perspetive to expertise development, learning mechanism of expertise development, developmental strategies to accelerate expertise development.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 지금까지의 전문성 연구의 동향과 주요 쟁점을 살펴봄으로써, 전문성 연구의 새로운 가능성을 탐색하고자 수행되었다. 전문성 연구를 크게 전통적 접근법과 전문가 수행 접근법으로 나누어 분석하였고 전문성 연구의 주요 쟁점으로는 전문성의 정의(definition), 전문성의 구성요소(Component), 전문성의 측정(measurement), 전문성의 전이가능성(transferability), 전문성 획득에 소요되는 시간(time) 등 5가지 주요 이슈로 분류하여 각각 어떠한 쟁점이 있는지를 분석하였다. 이를 통해서, 지금까지의 전문성 연구의 과제를 도출하고 앞으로 나아가야 할 전문성 연구의 방향으로 전문성 개발 접근(Expertise Developmental Approach)을 제시하였다. 전문성 개발 접근의 연구과제로서 전문성을 총체적으로 파악할 수 있는 통합적 연구방법의 도입, 전 생애적 관점의 전문성 연구, 전문성 발달 과정의 학 습 메커니즘 분석 연구, 전문성 습득을 가속화 할 수 있는 발달 전략 연구 등을 제언하였다.
