해방기 소설에 나타난 전향 모티프와 그 논리

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 해방기의 소설에 나타난 전향 모티프와 그 논리를 분석·검토함으로써 해방기 소설의 일 부면을 드러내는 데에 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 해방기 소설 가운데 전향 모티프가 주요 자질로 나타난 작품 분석함에 있어 그러한 작품이 생산된 시대·역사적 조건 및 작가의 전기적 사실이 고려되었다. 해방기는 1930년대 카프 해체 전후 전향문학이 생산되었던 시대·역사·작가론적 조건과는 달리 체제와 이데올로기의 선택의 문제였다. 따라서 해방 후 사상적 전향을 했던 소위 전향 작가들에 남겨진 작품은 물론 그들에 의해 기록된 담론조차 찾아보기 어렵다. 대개 월남 체험을 했던 작가들에 의해 남겨진 월남 모티프 내지는 전향 모티프의 작품이 발견된다. 이러한 작품들은 해방기 분단이 가시화 되어 가는 과정과 맞물려 공산주의 사회와 그 이데올로기 비판되면서 자유민주주의 사회와 그 이데올로기로 경사되는 과정과 그 논리가 마련되어 있음을 볼 수 있다. 거기에는 전향과 관련한 윤리·도덕적 사상 문제로 다루어지기보다는 정치·체제 문제와 관련된 반공 이데올로기의 고착화의 길로 이어져 있음이 확인된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to clarify some aspects of novels in liberation period by analyzing the works that contains redirection motif in plot and theme. The results are summarized as follows:
Firstly, the discourses and works that contain redirection motif were very rare. It seemed that writers made difficult decisions in documenting their works, for their works included ideologies and regime selections.
Secondly, this type of novels were written by the writers who stood in the conservative right-wing side after the Liberation Day and who experienced the ‘Coming South’. This means that experience of the ‘Coming South’ were the drive-force in writing the novels.
Thirdly, most of the novels were in ‘Baekmin’ and ‘Munyae’ that represented the conservative right wing after the first regime construction in August 15. 1948. This means that writing consciousness of right wing writers were reflected in the novels when the 38 military line were fixed.
Fourthly, the ideologies and regime of north Korea were criticized in the redirection processes, and social disorder and negative aspects of south Korea were criticized. This means that anti-communism ideologies were continued and social disorder in constructing single regime after the Liberation Day were reflected in the novels.
Lastly, this type of novels including ‘Coming South’-motif novels had their own order and logics. They had distinguishing features and meanings in comparison of other types of novels in that time.
