문학적 접근법이 유아의 사회적 기술 및 상호협력행동에 미치는 효과 = The Effects of Literature Based Strategies on Young Childrens' Social Skills and Dyadic Collaboration

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서 사용된 사회적 기술 훈련은 문학적 접근법에 기초한 것이다. 친사회적 주제가 있는 그림책을 유아들에게 읽어준 뒤에 주제와 관련된 소집단 미술활동을 하는 것과, 동일한 그림책을 읽어준 뒤에 주제와 관련된 토론활동을 하는 2가지 방법을 비교하였다. 본 연구대상은 만 4세 유아로서 동화를 읽고 난 후에 어떤 추후활동이 사회적 기술 및 상호협력행동의 증진에 효과적인지를 밝히기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 사회적 기술 홀련의 효과는 부모와 관찰자 2인에 의해 평정되었다. 미술활동을 한 집단은 사회적 기술과 강호협력행동의 향상에 유의한 효과가 있었으나, 토론활동을 한 집단은 사회적 기술의 향상에 유의한 효과가 없었고, 상호협력행동의 향상에 유의한 효과가 있었다.

This study investigates the effects of social skill training based on SSLS (Social Skill Literacy Strategy) on young children's social skills and dyadic collaboration. Two training activities were developed for this study; the first was an art activity engaged in after a reading of story picture books with a prosocial theme. The second was a discussion activity that followed the reading story picture books. Two experimental groups and a control group were administered pre and posttests. The subjects, 48 four year old kindergarten children were randomly assigned to three groups each consisting of 8 boys and 8 girls. Analyses of pre and posttests reveal that 1) the social skills of the children in experimental group I were greatly improved in comparison with experimental group Ⅱ and the control group and 2), both of the experimental groups demonstrated significant improvement in social dyadic collaboration in comparison to the control group.
