유아의 성,연령,기질 및 가정환경자극과 유아교육기관적응과의 관계 = A Study of Children's Adjustment to Child-Care Centers Based upon gender age, temperament and home environment

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유아의 성·연령·기질 및 가정환경자극과 유아의 유아교육기관적응과의 관련성을 분석한 것으로 유아교육기관적응을 돕는 교육자료에 이바지 하는데 연구목적이 있었다. 연구결과를 요약하면 유아교육기관적응은 유아의 성·연령·기질 및 가정환경자극변인에 따라 차이가 있었으며, 유아교육기관적응을 가장 잘 설명해주는 변인은 유아의 성이었다. 유아교육기관적응의 하위변인 중 안전성은 유아의 기질이, 교사와의 관계·집중력·교구이용능력·교사의 지시를 이해하는 능력·사회성·소근육운동조절능력은 유아의 성이, 자립심·개인적인 욕구 대처능력은 유아의 연령이, 언어표현능력은 가정환경자극이 유의미한 변인이었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examines the relationship between children's ecological backgrounds and their adjustment to child-care centers. To this end, a variety of different levels of ecological variables were considered, including gender, age, temperament and home environment. The subjectsof this study were 318 parents and their 3to4 year-old children who were attending child-care centers in Pusan. The Temperament Rating Scale (TRS) developed by Chun (1993) was used to measure temperament. Home environment data were obtained by using HOME (Lee and Jang, 1982). In addition, a modified version of the Adjustment to School Scale (Won, 1990) was used to evaluate the degree of the children's adjustment to child-care centers. The results of the study reveal significant differences in adjustment to the centers according to gender, age, temperament and home environment. Gender differences were found to have greater significance than the other variables.
