유아음악극 활동의 교육적 효과 탐색 = A Study of the Educational Effects of Music Drama Activities in Early Childhood Education

국문 초록 (Abstract)

유아음악극은 다양한 삶의 이야기를 통한 문식성, 노래언어를 통한 음악능력 발달 그리고 몸짓언어를 통한 신체 발달과 밀접한 관련이 있으며, 더 나아가 전인적인 발달을 도모할 수 있는 통합적인 활동이다. 본 논문은 만 5세 유아를 대상으로 유아음악극활동을 통합적으로 구성하여 실시한 결과, 문식성, 음악적 능력 및 신체표현 능력 발달에 효과적임을 알 수 있었다. 또한 유아들은 유아음악극 활동수준에 대해 전반적인 발달적 향상을 보였다. 이로써 유아음악극 활동은 문식성, 음악적 능력 및 신체표현 능력뿐만 아니라 유아음악극 활동수준에 있어서도 종합적인 발달을 보임으로써 유아들에게 효과적이고 통합적인 교육활동임을 알 수 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aim of the study was to investigate whether music drama activities effected differences in preschoolers literacy, musical ability and physical expression, and to analyze developmental changes of young children's music drama activity throughout the duration of the activities in a controlled study. The major research questions were as follows: First, does young children's music drama activity affect literacy, musical ability, physical expression? Second, does the whole procedure of young children's music drama activity show us a developmental change in the participants' management ability? The main results in this study are as follows: First, there were some significant differences in young children's music drama activity in terms of literacy. Especially, story understanding on literacy test scores in the experimental group showed significant difference. There were also significant differences in young children's music drama activity in terms of increased musical ability and physical expression, that is, listening and understanding the concepts of music increased as shown in the musical ability test scores of the experimental group. And rhythmic expression and physical expression test scores in the experimental group were significantly different in each case. Second, the course of young children's music drama activity reflected developmental changes in the participants' management ability. The participants' ability to manage showed enhancement in the following areas: character maps, singing, physical expression, social skills and creative thinking.
