미술공동작업에 있어서 유아의 협동에 관한 질적연구 = An Ethnographic Study on Children's Cooperative Art Works

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 협동의 중요성이 강조되고 있으면서도 현장에서는 실제로 많이 활용되고 있지 못하다는 인식에서 출발하여 효과적인 교수·학습 방법으로서의 의미를 부각하기 위한 탐색에 기초하고 있다. 따라서 선행연구 및 문헌자료를 기초로 협동을 위한 지원조건들을 이해하고 미술공동작업이 진행되는 현장에서 유아들의 협동은 어떤 상황에서 발현·전개·유지되는가를 찾아보는 데 있다. 이를 위하여 문화기술적 방법을 통해 공동작업이 진행되는 동안 협동이 일어나는 장면들을 6가지 범주로 구별·분석하고 논의하였다.

This study is based on the premise that knowledge of the importance of cooperation, regardless of its emphasis, is little utilized in practice. The study therefore is an attempt of an explorative nature, to represent an effective teaching-learning practice as it is implemented on the educational scene in Korea. In this study, on the basis of previous studies and documentary analyses, basic conditions of cooperation were first determined and then these conditions were observed and described in terms of their presentation, development and maintenance in practice. Therefore, it was an ethnographic approach to the problem in which a cooperative work was produced and maintained. The practice was analyzed in terms of the following seven categories of cooperative work: self-awareness, pro-social skills, material treatment skills, communication and problem-solving skills, ability to use information, teacher's basic teaching ability, child's individual characteristics and response attitudes. Further studies, not limited to cooperative art works, but steeped in broader cooperative efforts engaged in by children in their daily lives.
