국내 집단상담 연구의 최근경향과 과제 = The Recent Trends and Challenges of Group Counseling Studies in South Korea

The purpose of the present study was to conduct a 10-year (from 2001 to 2010) content analysis of empirical research on group counseling in South Korea. To this end, the authors conducted an exhaustive search for empirical research articles using the subjects of ``group counseling`` and ``group therapy``. They identified 473 research articles including 433 outcome studies, which were further classified into outcome studies and studies using meta analysis. Twenty seven studies were classified into process studies, which were further classified into therapeutic factors, small group process and connection to outcome, outcome prediction from client characteristics, and qualitative analysis of group process. Finally, 13 studies (review and theoretical studies) were not classified into either of the two. A brief analysis of major findings and gaps in the literature is provided, and the authors make recommendations for further research.
