정신보건사회복지사의 외상 후 성장관련 요인 연구 = Posttraumatic Growth among Mental Health Social Workers

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 정신보건사회복지사들의 외상경험 실태와 외상 후 성장에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 밝히는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 정신보건사회복지사 225명을 대상으로 외상사건 유형, 자아탄력성, 사회적 지지를 중심으로 살펴보았으며, 분석방법으로는 위계적 회귀분석방법을 실시하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정신보건사회복지사의 외상사건 유형에 따른 외상 후 성장의 차이를 살펴본 결과, 개인적인 외상사건 경험이 높은 집단이 높은 외상 후 성장을 보인 반면에 직무 외상경험에 따른 외상 후 성장의 차이는 통계적으로 유의미하지 않았다. 둘째, 자아탄력성이 높을수록, 사회적 지지가 높을수록, 연령이 많을수록, 직무 외상경험이 적을수록, 개인외상경험이 많을수록, 개인외상경험 후 시간이 오래될수록 외상 후 성장에 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 특히 자아탄력성은 정신보건사회복지사들의 외상 후 성장에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과에 기반하여 정신보건사회복지사의 외상사건 경험 후 외상 후 성장을 도모하기 위한 실천적 제언을 하였다.

This study was conducted to examine the influencing factors of Posttraumatic Growth(PTG) among mental health social workers. This study was conducted on 225 mental health social workers with questions on personal and occupational trauma types, ego-resiliency, social support, socio-demographic factors, PTG. Collected data were analyzed by t-test, step wise regression. The Results were as follows: First, ego-resiliency was the most significant predictor of PTG. Second, ego- resiliency, social support, age, lower occupational trauma, higher personal trauma, longer duration after personal traumatic events were significantly impacted on the PTG. Based on these findings, practical strategies of intervention for mental health social worker were suggested to improve their mental health.
