The purpose of this study is to investigate the relation of job stress to servant leadership and organizational commitment. In order to attain the objectives of this study, a model and hypotheses were established on the basis of preceding studies. In a model proposed for this study, servant leadership was used as antecedent to job stress while organizational commitment was used as consequences for it. The research model and hypotheses were tested through analyses of the 275 employees' responses to a survey questionnaire. To test the hypotheses, structural equation
modeling was employed, All hypotheses were proved as expected. Results indicated that (a) servant leadership has a negative impact on job stress; (b)job stress has a negative impact on organizational commitment. Theoretical and practical implications were discussed and future research directions were outlined.
