21세기 국어과 교육과정 개정의 방향 탐색 -미국의 공통핵심기준의 특성과 시사점 분석을 중심으로- = Reforming the 21st Century Korean Language Arts Curriculum -Analyzing characteristics and implications of the Common Core State Standards-

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The goal of this study is to find out implications for reforming Korean Language Arts curriculum based on the social needs and the current trends about competence-based standards. The study reviewed discussions about core competences related to curriculum reform. It also analyzed the background, key design consideration, rational, and examples of the Common Core State Standards and highlighted following implications：1) The CCSS emphasized literacy in Language Arts as well as other subject areas. 2) The CCSS established college & career readiness anchor standards, and developed standards from them. 3) The CCSS proposed 4 sub-areas in Language Arts curriculum. 4) The CCSS tried to balance students`` reading abilities for literature and informational texts. 5) The CCSS had flexible organizations in display of standards. 6) The CCSS had strong research regarding levels and ranges of texts. 7) The CCSS offered information for readers about major concepts of the standards. 8) The CCSS included materials and examples for teaching and evaluation.
