2세 영아의 정서표현의 의미 = 교사와의 상호작용을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 2세 영아들이 교사와의 상호작용에서 나타내는 정서의 의미를 알아보고는 것에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 서울의 M구에 위치한 A어린이집에서 평균 26.3개월의 영아 6명과 이들의 교사를 대상으로 2010년 6월부터 11월까지 6개월 동안 교사와의 상호작용에서 영아들이 나타내는 정서표현을 관찰하기 위해 참여관찰을 실시하였다.
본 연구에서 나타난 영아들의 울기, 미소 짓기, 의기양양하기 등의 표현이 영아들에게 행위조절의 수단, 의도전달 및 목표달성의 수단, 자신감의 표현, 행동의 정당화를 위한 수단, 상호작용의 촉진 및 유지의 수단 등의 의미를 지니고 있었다.
본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 2세 영아의 정서학습과 정서발달을 위해 교사가 해야 하는 것도 있지만 이들이 가지고 있는 정서의 의미를 바탕으로 다양한 경험을 제공하는 것이 필요하다는 것을 이해할 수 있었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The study aims to understand the meaning of emotions expressed by two-year-old toddlers within the interaction with their teacher in everyday classroom. In order to look at the young children’s emotional expression, this study utilizied participant observations twice a week for six months from June to November 2010 at a district public day care center in Seoul, and analyzed the concepts derived from the data collected through video, IP TV, and audio recording.
Six young children at 26.3 months of age in average were observed in a daily routine in the classroom. This study showed that young children expressed their emotions by a means as behavioral regulation, intention communication and goal achievement, expression of self-esteem, justification of behaviors, and promotion and maintaining of interaction.
The study has a limitation that the results are not generalized as an ethnography research, but this study was able to examine the significance of young children’s emotional expression through situational contexts in the interaction between the two-year-old toddlers and their teacher. This study implies that it provides professional teachers with basic data that they can utilize in helping young children in learning and development.
