지적장애 학생의 물건 구입하기 기술에 대한 국내외 실험연구 고찰 = A Review of Experimental Research on Purchasing Skills for Students with Intellectual Disabilities

The purchasing skill is recognized in the field of special education as an important skill when teaching students with intellectual disabilities to function independently within community settings. The purpose of this study was to review the research literature of purchasing skills of students with intellectual disabilities and to provide information and suggestions on purchasing skills for future research and practices at schools.
A systematic search of the literature from 2000 to 2010 revealed 15 experimental studies published in major special education journals within the foreign countries( specially the United Sates) and South Korea. This study analyzed the 15 selected studies in terms of 11 analytical variables: participants, research settings, experimental design, training program and strategies, target skills, method of measurement, inter-observer reliability, treatment fidelity, social validation, results(ie. effects), maintenance and generation.
In particular, the foreign studies usually used computer-based interventions as training strategies and Korean studies usually focused on community-based intervention programs. All reviewed studies utilized single-subject research designs which were used to evaluate the effects of training programs. The findings of this study were described in detail based on the 11 analytic variables. The implications of the findings and recommendations for practice and future research on purchasing skills were presented.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

장애학생이 지역사회에서 독립적으로 생활하는데 필요한 중요한 지역사회적응 기술 중의 하나는 물건 구입하기 기술이다. 본 연구의 목적은 국내외에서 이루어진 물건 구입하기 기술에 대한 실험연구를 조사하여 분석함으로써, 관련 분야의 연구 동향과 교수 전략 등을 파악하고 앞으로 효과적인 교육프로그램을 개발하고 적용하는데 필요한 기초 자료를 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 최근 국외 및 국내에서 발표된 물건 구입하기 기술과 관련된 논문을 조사하고, 분석논문 선정기준에 따라 국외 10편, 국내 5편, 총 15편의 실험논문을 최종 분석대상으로 선정하였다. 선행연구 분석은 5가지 분석변인의 영역에 따라서 총 11개의 분석변인(연구대상, 실험환경, 실험설계 및 절차, 중재프로그램과 기법, 목표기술, 측정도구 및 방법, 관찰자간 신뢰도, 중재충실도, 사회적 타당도, 연구결과, 유지 및 일반화)으로 심층적으로 분석되었다. 분석결과를 보면 물건 구입하기 기술과 관련된 중재방법으로는 컴퓨터중심 교수와 지역사회중심 교수가 주로 활용되었는데, 특히 국외에서는 비디오나 멀티미디어를 활용한 컴퓨터중심 교수가 많이 사용되었으며, 국내에서는 지역사회중심 교수가 많이 사용되고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 분석된 선행연구는 모두 단일대상연구 설계를 활용하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과는 11개의 분석변인에 따라 구체적으로 제시하였으며, 그 결과는 지적장애 학생의 물건 구입하기 기술과 지역사회적응 관점에서 논의하였다.
