정부신뢰에 미치는 영향요인에 관한 연구 = 사회문화적 접근방법과 제도적 성과 접근방법의 검증

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 정부신뢰 향상에 영향을 미치는 요인으로서 자발적 단체참여를 중시하는 사회문화적 접근 방법과 가계경제성과를 중시하는 제도적 성과 접근방법의 두 가지 경쟁적 접근방법을 토대로 한국의 경우를 실증적으로 분석하고 정부신뢰 향상을 위한 정책적 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 다중회귀분석을 통해 분석한 결과, 첫째, 한국의 경우 자발적 단체참여와 시민들이 체감할 수 있는 가계경제성과 모두 정부신뢰 향상에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 베타값(Beta)을 통한 영향력 측면에서 보면 가계경제에 대한 시민의 만족도가 자발적 단체참여보다 정부신뢰에 영향을 다소 더 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 한국의 경우 두 가지 접근방법은 영향력 측면에서는 다소 차이를 보이나 정부신뢰 향상에 모두 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 정부신뢰를 향상시키기 위해서는 단기적으로는 시민들이 체감할 수 있는 가계경제에 대한 만족도가 높아질 수 있도록 적극적으로 정책적 방안을 추진함과 동시에 장기적으로 자발적 단체참여가 원활히 이루어질 수 있는 환경을 조성하여 정부신뢰를 높여야 할 것으로 사료된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study attempts to analyze two competing approaches of socio-cultural approach and institutional performance approach and accordingly to suggest policy measures that can improve government trust. Results of multi-regression analysis show that in the case of Korea, both voluntary participation and household economic performance have statistical significance on improving government trust, and judging from Beta coefficient, citizen satisfaction on household economy has more influence on government trust than voluntary participation. The case of Korea demonstrates that both approaches exert significant influence on improving government trust, albeit differences in their extents. The results suggest that government should actively search for policy measures to improve citizen satisfaction on economic performance, and at the same time play a crucial role in creating an environment to encourage voluntary participation among citizens.
