      The aim of this research is to establish an extended plan and suggest the range and guidelines for each stage in constructing of learner corpus for Korean language learners. In order to conduct such research, domestic and international cases of learner corpus construction and other learner corpus were analyzed, and needs analysis was performed to the prospective users such as researchers, instructors and learners of Korean. Furthermore, key points that needs to be considered in the stages of the designing, constructing, processing corpus and developing of tools were discussed in depth through workshops and consulting with the professionals in the field of Korean language education and corpus.
      This research, regarding the learner corpus which will be constructed in the future, suggested the following on the basis of the conducted result.
      First, construction of a multifaceted corpus that applies multimedia such as videos, spoken language and written language, a corpus that is capable of consistent update and a corpus that satisfies the users’ needs are taken as a premise.
      Secondly, header information such as variables in learners, what they study, environment, task, counterpart in the speech and speech context should be added to each data so that users can freely extract necessary information according to their purpose.
