한국 전래동요의 소박형성요인에 관한 연구 - 사설의 율격과 가창행위가 소박형성에 미치는 영향을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 한국전래동요의 소박이 사설의 율격과 가창행위에 따라 어떻게 형성되는가를 밝히고 있다. 전래동요는 전해 내려오는 아이들의 노래이며 말ㆍ노래ㆍ놀이가 결합된 한국 고유의 아동음악문화이다. 전래동 요를 통한 아동의 음악적 행위는 어른에 의해 창작되고 교육된 것이 아니라 아동의 주체적이고 능동적인 음악표 현에 의한 것이다. 아동의 언어가 노래가 되어가는 과정에서 리듬과 선율이 부가되는데, 이 과정에서 아동의 음 악표현 과정을 효과적으로 이해할 수 있다. 특히 한국어가 음악이 되어가는 과정을 한국전래동요의 음악적 특징 을 통해 살펴볼 수 있다. 전래동요의 소박은 사설의 율격, 사설에 표현된 의태어나 의성어의 양상, 아동의 가창행위가 복합적으로 작용되 어 결정된다. 전래동요 소박의 형성요인을 명확히 단정지을 수는 없으나, 전래동요 소박 형성의 양상을 살펴봄 으로써 한국의 음악적 모국어인 전래동요의 특징을 이해하는 데 도움이 될 것이다. 한국의 음악교육에서 음악적 모국어에 대한 교육은 매우 중요하다. 음악교육의 목표 중 하나가 학습자의 능동적 인 음악표현을 이끌어 내는 것임을 감안한다면, 음악표현의 일차적인 소재가 음악적 모국어이기 때문이다. 음악 적 모국어에 의한 음악표현이 이뤄질 때 한국의 음악문화적 정체성이 형성될 수 있음은 자명하다. 이러한 측면에서 본 연구가 전래동요에 담긴 음악적 모국어의 양상을 살피는 데에 작은 도움이 될 수 있기를 기 대한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigates how so-bak of Korean children song is formed and influenced by the cadence and the singing. Korean children song is an unique traditional children music as well as a culture that combines the language, song, and play in Korea. Children’s musical acts with children’s folk songs are not educated or created by adults, but are the product of their own musical representation of children. The current study examines the process of the Korean language becoming a form of music through the musical characteristics of Korean children’s folk song. The so-bak[小拍] of Korean children songs is created under influence of various characteristics factors including children musical acts, meter, and local music culture and therefore it is difficult to determine all the elements influencing so-bak. Yet, studying how children’s folk song’s so-bak is formed and developed will help us to understand the characteristics of Korean children songs as the mother tongue of the Korean music. In Korean music education, the mother tongue of the Korean music is a primary factor because one of the goals of music education is to draw on each student’s active representation of music and the musical mother tongue is a primary tool to create the musical expression. From this point of view, this study is expected to help to learn more about the aspect of the musical mother tongue through the Korean children song.
