웹 기반 학습의 효과 저해요인 및 그 원인 = Impeding Factors and Their Causes in Web-based Learning

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of the study was to examine impeding factors and their causes in web-based learning. According to related literatures on factors of affecting off-line and on-line learning effects, there were nine impeding factors tentatively developed. Based on these factors, a set of survey questionnaire was developed and the survey results were analyzed by exploratory factor analysis(EFA). To identify the causes of impeding learning factors in web-based instruction, individual interviews were conducted. The conclusions of the study were as follows: The impeding factors in web-based learning are said to be ‘Problem in Learning Motivation and Attitude’, ‘Burden on the Computer Utility’, ‘Resistance against New Learning Methods’, ‘Problem in Learning Design’, ‘Difficulty in the Interaction’, ‘Problem in the Interface Design’, ‘Problem in the Physical Environment’, and ‘Lack of Administrative Support’. Based on the study results, guidelines for enhancing the quality of web-based learning and designing an effective web-based learning were developed.
