문제해결 시나리오 교수학습환경설계 모형에 관한 형성적 연구 = Formative research on Problem- Solving Scenario as an Instructional and Learning Environment Design Model

This research was conducted to improve the prescriptions by Problem- Solving Scenario(PSS) as an instructional and learning environment design model. Problem- Solving Scenario was constructed from a cans tructiveopint of view, and prescriptions of PBL(Problem- Based Learning) or GBS(Goal- Based Scenario) were modified to reflect a set of specific conditions ; the problem- solving skill its elf as an training objective, students as adult employees in corporation, and corporation training cons trains t. A training program was designed and developed by the prescriptions of PSS, and it was implemented for 21 adult participants of a corporation. Nine participants were interviewed along with debriefing questions after the whole training sessions on the strengths and weaknesses of the prescriptions. The results, first, show that the strengths indicated by the interviewees can be largely classified into `` learner- directed environment``, `` problem solving- centered environment``, `` guidance of learning process``. This reveals that PSS was success ful to show the constructive viewpoints of learning; problem- based and learner- centered learning. The other results suggest that some specific prescriptions should be improved to provide a meaningful learning for the participants. Improvements were suggested in the following areas : `` developing and providing authentic problems ``, `` arranging discus s ion period``, `` providing data and materials ``, `` presentation``, `` team research``, and `` problem- solving guidance`` . More optimal PSS prescriptive strategies can be made through integrating these improvements which were found in formative research.
