역량기반 교육과정의 현장 적용 방안 연구: 캐나다 퀘벡의 사례를 중심으로 = Implementation of competency-based curriculum in practice: Based on the case of Quebec, Canada

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The primary purpose of this study is to investigate how to implement competency-based curriculum in schools. To achieve this goal, using document data and qualitative data generated through interviews and classroom observation, this study focus on the case of Quebec, Canada, which has reformed its curriculum to develop students` competencies since the early 2000s. Major findings show that teachers in Quebec are attempting to take a balance between content knowledge and relevant instructional strategies to develop students` competencies. It also turned out that policy-makers have taken various actions to facilitate targeted changes in reality. Based on these findings, this study proposes recommendations that Korean educators may consider in employing a competency-based approach to the Korean school curriculum.
