초등학생과 중학생의 학교폭력 영향요인 비교

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 허쉬(Hirschi)의 사회유대이론, 에이크즈(Akers)의 사회학습이론, 헨겔러(Henggeler)의 청소년 행동에 관한 다체계적 관점과 학교폭력영역의 기존연구를 토대로 학교폭력에 관한 다체계 모델을 구성하고 초등학생의 학교폭력 영향요인과 중학생의 학교폭력 영향요인을 비교하는 것이다. 다체계 모델에는 개인체계변인, 가족체계변인, 친구체계변인, 학교체계변인이 포함되었다. 연구 대상은 한국청소년패널조사(KYPS) 초4 패널 1차년도 데이터의 2,949명의 초등학교 4학년 학생과 한국 청소년패널조사 중2 패널 1차년도 데이터의 3,697명의 중학교 2학년 학생이었다. 자료분석방법으로는 기술통계, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석이 사용되었다. 분석결과, 유의미한 초등학생의 학교폭력 영향요인은 성별, 분노통제력, 폭력 가해경험 친구 수, 성적으로 나타난 반면, 유의미한 중학생의 학교폭력 영향요인은 성별, 분노통제력, 부모와의 애착, 부모감독, 폭력 가해경험 친구 수로 나타나 두 집단 간에 유의미한 영향요인에서 차이가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과를 기초로 본 연구는 초등학생과 중학생의 각 발달시기에 적합한 효과적인 학교폭력 예방 및 개입을 위한 실제적 방안을 제시하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to construct multi systemic model of school violence, based on Hirschi's social bonding theory, Akers' social learning theory, Henggeler's multisystemic perspective of adolescent behavior and the previous findings in the area of school violence and compare the factors influencing on school violence among elementary school students with those among middle school students. The multi systemic model included individual, family, peer, and school system variables. The sample consisted of two groups, 2,949 fourth-year elementary school students from the first year data of Korea Youth Panel Survey for fourth-year elementary school students and 3,697 second-year middle school students from the first year data of Korea Youth Panel Survey for second-year middle school students. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed. The main finding was that gender, anger control, the number of close friends who were offenders of school violence, and grade were significant variables in explaining school violence among elementary school students, but that gender, anger control, attachment to parents, parents' supervision, and the number of close friends who were offenders of school violence were significant variables in explaining school violence among middle school students. Based on these results, this study provided some practical suggestions for effective prevention and intervention proper to each developmental stage for elementary and middle school students.
