다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract) kakao i 다국어 번역

The purpose of this paper is to cognize the value of care in education, and to build theoretical bases needed for practice by examining Noddings` care education. The possibility of practical care education was investigated by dimensions of infancy education and teacher education. Noddings` care education is adapted from Gilligan`s ethics of care. She asserted the ethics of care to alternative ethics of justice. Noddings intends to imply in her ethics of care the ethics of relation and reciprocity. Caring can be analyzed as the concept of tendency toward happiness. Because it is a universal situation to want to be happy, good education should contribute to a private individual and group. This is realized by the extension of care. From a view of care continuity and cultivation of altruistic disposition, caring education should start from infancy education. According to the principles of infancy caring education, parents themselves should take equal care of their children and show them their caring for others. A teacher should practice ethical ideals which sublimate natural caring in ethical caring. Moreover, care should be maintained. The educational purpose here should be directed to the realization of ethical ideals. Students themselves should be treated as a purpose not a means of education. It is designed from the philosophical view to review the meaning of ``care`` in modern education, which is believed to have insufficient levels of care.
