청소년을 위한 영성 척도의 개발 = Developing a Scale of Spirituality for Korean Adolescent

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 한국의 청소년들을 위한 영성척도를 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 예비 연구를 수행하였는데, 국내외의 다양한 영성 척도에 관한 문헌을 참고하여 11개 하위 요인에 64문항의 예비척도를 제작하였고, 경기도 소재 3개 중고등학교에서 125명을 대상으로 예비 검사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 내용타당도와 신뢰도 검사를 통해 부적절한 문항을 제외하고 8개 하위요인에 46문항을 추출하였다. 예비 연구 결과를 통해 도출된 예비 척도를 바탕으로 본 연구를 실시하였다. 본 연구는 예비연구에서 개발된 문항을 다른 대상자들에게 적용하여 척도의 신뢰도와 타당도 검사를 하여 완전한 척도로 개발하기 위한 목적으로 실시되었다. 본 연구에서 경기 및 서울 소재 5개 중고등학생 191명이 참여하였다. 본 검사에서 하위 요인별 내적 합치도를 살펴보기 위해서 신뢰도 검증을 한 결과, 신뢰도는 .76-.91까지 양호하게 나타났다. 구인 타당도 검증을 위하여 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였는데 초기 연구 모형은 모형적합도가 낮아 하나의 하위구인(삶의 목적)을 제외하여 수정모형을 다시 분석하였다. 그 결과 수정 모형의 적합도는 χ2=615.284, df=284,p<.001, CFI=917, TLI=897, RMSEA=.057로 한국 청소년들의 영성을 측정하는 적합한 모형으로 나타났다. 이에 따라 최종적으로 6개의 하위 요인에 26문항으로 이루어진 한국청소년용 영성 척도가 개발되었다. 본 연구를 통해 개발된 본 영성 척도는 한국의 청소년들을 대상으로 타당화함으로 한국 청소년들의 영성의 일반적 특성을 잘 반영하는 하위요인들과 문항으로 구성되어, 청소년들에게 사용할 수 있다는 점에서 그 의의를 찾을 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to develop a measurement scale of spirituality for Korean adolescent. The initial set of 64 items with 11 sub-constructs were generated from literature reviews. Preliminary study was conducted to evaluate content validity and reliability of the initial items with 125 middle and high school students. Through the preliminary study, 18 items were removed based on the value of Cronbach α. After that, main study was conducted to examine the reliability and validity of the designed scale. Through the reliability test, 11 items with low reliability were removed. With the confirmatory factor analysis for validity test, examination of the 35 items scale indicated barely acceptable level of fit. The deletion of one sub-construct (purpose of life) and three more items with cross-loading improved the model fit (χ2=615.284, df=284,p<.001, CFI=917, TLI=897, RMSEA=.057). Finally, utility and academic implication of the study were discussed.
