PISA 2009 읽기 영역 결과 분석 연구 = An Analysis of the Result of Reading Literacy in PISA 2009

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study introduced the procedure of PISA 2009, analyzed the results of reading literacy in PISA 2009, and suggested ideas about the plan and practice for Korean language education based on the result in order to call for the interest in PISA from the community of Korean language education.
Korean students' results of reading literacy in PISA 2009 were analyzed at the point of percentile, gender, and sub-categories such as text format(continuous text and non-continuous text) and aspects(access and retrieve, integrate and interpret, and reflect and evaluate). The results were also compared with the results of PISA 2000, 2003, and 2006 in order to observe their trends.
Based on the analysis, this study firstly called for more interest in designing research on and teaching top performers of reading literacy,and secondly needed more attention to the difference in reading literacy between male and female students in order to reduce their gaps.
