Holland진로탐색프로그램이 일반계 고등학교 학습부진아의 진로정체감에 미치는 효과 = Effects of Holland's Career Exploration Program on Career Identity of High School' Underachievers

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to apply Holland's career theory to underachievers by verifying the validity of the theory in terms of the congruence theory of vocational personality with vocational environment. According to the theory, it is assumed that underachievers are mostly not the investigative types(I type), have lower cognitive abilities for academic achievement. As though they would have their own self efficacy(physical abilities for the R types, human relationship for the S and E types), other than cognitive abilities, actually their self efficacy are very low due to chronic academic failure. The differences between the two groups were examined and the results were as follows: First, Holland's Career Exploration Program was significantly effective to increase positive responses of all Holland test items of underachievers. Second, Holland's Career Exploration Program was significantly effective to increase the career identity of underachievers in high school. In conclusion, Holland Career Exploration Program is very effective for underachievers. Underachievers were satisfied with congruent environment for their RIASEC personality type each, compared with incongruent environment. Especially, it strongly suggest to be congruent between underachievers' RIASEC types and their own learning and instructional treatment in the real educational settings in order to improve their self efficacy for their future occupational success.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 Holland진로탐색프로그램을 통한 일반계고등학생의 학습부진아의 진로정체감의 효과를 알아보기 위하여 실시되었다. 본 연구의 대상은 부산광역시 일반계고등학교 문과ㆍ이과구별이 안된 1학년 남학생으로 2학급 중에서 실험집단 학습부진아 25명과 2학급 중에서 통제집단 학습부진아 25명이었다. 실제 연구 단계는 사전검사, 실험처치(Holland진로탐색프로그램 진행), 사후, 지연검사로 진행되었으며 Holland진로탐색프로그램을 8주 동안 1주일에 2회기 50분씩으로 16회에 걸쳐 재량활동과 클럽활동 시간에 실시하였다. 검사는 실험집단과 통제집단 모두 Holland진로탐색검사, 학습기술검사, 진로정체감 검사를 실시하였으며, 실험의 효과 분석은 반복측정 분산분석(ANOVA)과 Post-hoc분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서의 결론은 Holland진로탐색프로그램이 학습부진아의 진로정체감에서 안정성, 목표지향성, 자기주장, 자기존재의식, 독특성에서도 유의미한 효과가 있었다. 특히, 안정성, 목표지향성, 자기주장, 자기존재의식에서 매우 두드러지는 차이를 보인 것으로 보아 진로발달에 있어서 개인이 스스로를 잘 이해하고 자신감을 가지는 것이 매우 중요함을 보여주었다.
