다문화가정 어머니의 문화적응이 유아의 행동문제에 미치는 영향 : 양육행동의 매개효과 = The effect of mother's acculturation on young children's behavior problems in multi-cultural family: parenting as mediator

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 다문화가정 어머니의 문화적응과 양육행동이 유아의 행동문제에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고, 다문화가정 어머니의 문화적응이 유아의 행동문제에 미치는 영향에서 양육행동의 매개효과를 검증하기 위한 목적으로 실시되었다. 연구대상은 경남지역에 소재한 유치원과 어린이집 73곳에 재원 중인 만 3세, 만4세, 그리고 만 5세 다문화가정 유아 150명과 유아의 어머니 150명, 그리고 유아의 담임교사 108명이다. 연구결과 다문화가정 어머니의 통합적 문화적응 수준이 높을수록 유아의 불안, 공격, 충동적 행동문제 수준은 낮아지며, 다문화가정 어머니의 애정적 양육행동 수준이 높을수록 유아의 불안, 위축, 산만, 공격, 충동적 행동문제 수준은 낮아졌다. 또한 다문화가정 어머니의 통합적 문화적응이 유아의 행동문제(불안, 공격, 충동 행동문제)에 미치는 영향에서 어머니의 애정적 양육행동의 매개효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 즉 다문화가정 어머니의 통합적 문화적응은 애정적 양육행동을 통해 다문화가정 유아의 행동문제에 직·간접적으로 영향을 미쳤다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigates the effects of mother's acculturation and parenting on young children's behavior problems. It also explores the mediation effect of mother's parenting on relationships between mother's acculturation and young children's behavior problems in multi-cultural family. One hundred and fifty young children of age 3, 4, and 5, their mothers, and one hundred and eight teachers participated in this study. The results for this study revealed the followings: 1. Mother's acculturation(integration) significantly affected anxiety, aggression, and impulse behavior problems in multi-cultural family. 2. Mother's parenting(affection) significantly affected all of the young children's behavior problems(anxiety, withdrawal, distraction, aggression, and impulse) in multi-cultural family. 3. Relationships between mother's acculturation(integration) and young children's behavior problems(anxiety, aggression, and impulse) in multi-cultural family were significantly mediated by mother's affective parenting.
