대학생의 개인적 직업 관련요인들과 취업준비실태의 관계 연구 = Abstracts : The Relationship Between Individual Work factors and Preparation of Employment in University students

The main purpose of this study is to investigate into the internal factors which might have influences on the main causes of youth unemployment, focusing on work values, major commitment, criteria on the choice of job or major, preparation of employment. The present study is different from previous studies whose main focus has gone to the socio-structural factors from a demand-and-supply perspective and the unbalance between demand and supply in the labor market. The number of 352 university students (3rd and 4th grade) participated in the study. SPSS/Win 12.0 was adopted for the analysis of data such as frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, χ2 analysis and t-test. This study shows the followings: First, there is no big difference in the requirements for job recruiting of the desired company and the student preparation of employment between previous and present studies.　Second, the more students have major commitment, the higher the level of matching between major and desired jobs is. Third, in response to the criteria on the choice of job, aptitude and interest are important factors to female students, while income and salary to male counterparts. Finally, the following have the statistical significance: Female students is higher than male ones in intrinsic value and altruistic value in terms of the difference of average in gender, criteria of the choice in major, the level of major commitment and work values. Ego-centered decision is more important role than other-centered decision in intrinsic value. Major commitment plays an important role in intrinsic, altruistic and personal relationship.
