The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of career maturity levels on job values and career decision making self-efficacy of Korean women. The research questions were as follows. First, how are the variables (school experiences, household incomes, age and employment) related to job values, career decision making self-efficacy and career maturity? Second, what are the relationships of career maturity levels on job values and career decision making self-efficacy of women? Third, what are the most siginificant predictors of the career maturity levels between job values and career decision making self-efficacy? The subjects for this study were comprised of 277 employed women and 308 unemployed women randomly selected. The data were analyzed using t-test, F-test, Pearson's correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression techniques. The findings for Question One revealed that there were no significant differences on job values related to school experiences, household incomes, age, and employment. However, there were significant differences on career decision making self-efficacy and career maturity levels. School experiences and household incomes showed high scores on career decision making self-efficacy and career maturity levels. Especially, employed women showed high scores on career maturity than unemployed women. The findings for Question Two indicated that there were low relationships of job values and career decision making self-efficacy on career maturity. The findings for Question Three revealed that independence for employed women and accomplishment for unemployed women were the most significant predictors of career maturity levels.
