유아의 사회적 기술, 또래놀이 상호작용과 사회적 놀이 행동 간의 관계 = The Relationships between Social Skills, Peer Play Interactions and Social Play Behaviors

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between social skills, peer play interactions and social play behaviors. The subjects were 82 public kindergarten children in I city. The social skills and peer interactions was rated by their teachers using the SSRS(Social Skills Rating System) of Fantuzzo, Manz, et al. and PIPPS(Penn Interactive Peer Play Scale) of Fantuzzo, Coolahan, et al. Children`s social play behaviors were observed during free play time and coded by criteria of Robinson et al. and Parten. The collected date were analyzed by Pearson r and multiple regression. The results of this study were as follows: First, there were significant relationships between social skills and social play behaviors, and between peer play interactions and social play behaviors. Second, verbal assertion was negative factor in predicting solitary play and positive factor in predicting collaborative play. Third, play connection was positive factor in predicting solitary play and play disruption was negative factor in predicting academic behaviors.
