북한의 비핵화 프로그램 전략을 위한 구소련의 사례 연구 = A Study of Soviet Union Case for the Strategy of Nuclear Non-Proliferation of North Korea

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Though there have been many researches on nuclear non-proliferation of north Korea, it is rare to investigate the strategy of it at program level. This article firstly attempted to find some implications for the strategy of nuclear nonproliferation program of North Korea based on the case studies of Russia and Ukraine. The case studies considered the countries` initial conditions at high risk stage of nuclear proliferation and how international countries solved the problems. Based on the case studies, we can have some implications for the nuclear non-proliferation of North Korea. Firstly, the will of nuclear non-proliferation is very important at the early stage. And secondly the elimination of nuclear material should be focused at the early process of it. Thirdly, programs like destruction and dismantlement program in CTR program can be main consideration for north Korea. And some programs such as demilitarization programs also should be considered. Finally, all of the programs for nuclear non-proliferation should be strategically designed on a very long time.
