국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 빈곤가정 아동의 위험요인으로써의 부모관련 스트레스와 보호요인으로써의 부모지지가 심리사회적 적응에 미치는 영향을 밝히는 것을 목적으로 하여 이루어졌다. 초등학교 5·6학년 932명을 대상으로 조사한 자료를 분석하였다. 도구로는 부모관련 스트레스 척도, 부모지지 척도, 외현화 문제행동 척도, 우울 척도를 사용하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 부모관련 스트레스는 우울 및 외현화 문제행동에서 정적인 상관관계를 나타내었다. 또한 부모관련 스트레스가 빈곤집단의 경우 우울과 외현화 문제행동에 유의미한 설명력을 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 부모지지와 우울 및 외현화 문제행동 간에는 부적인 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 우울에 대해 빈곤집단 남녀 아동 모두에게 부모지지가 유의미한 설명력을 나타내었다. 외현화 문제행동에서는 여학생의 경우 부모지지가 유의미한 설명력을 보였으나 남학생의 경우 유의미한 설명력이 나타나지 않았다. 마지막으로 이 연구의 제한점과 추후 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study were to find out the effect of stress related with parents and parent support on psychosocial adjustment of children in poverty. Subjects consisted of 932 students in fifth of sixth grades in B city. Family risk factor questionnaire, the parent support scale, the stress related with parents scale, children's behavior scale, and children's depression scale were used. The results of this study were as follow. First, stress was positively related to depression or extroverted problematic behavior. Stress related with parents of children in poverty effected on psychosocial adjustment. Second, there was negative relation between parents' support and psychosocial adjustment. Parent support of girls in poverty effected on external problem behavior and depression. Parent support of boys in poverty effected on depression but didn't effect on external problem behavior. Finally, implications and limitations of this study were discussed.
