경제개념의 효과적인 교수학습 모형으로서 교실 경제실험의 제안 = A Proposal of Experimental Economics as an Effective Instructional Model for Economic Concepts in Secondary Social Studies

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 교실 경제실험이 단순히 학교의 교수학습 모형이 될 수 있음을 보여주는 것에서 한걸음 더 나아가 '훌률하고 효과적인' 경제개념의 교수학습 모형이 될 수 있음을 논증해 보고자 한다. 이는 구성주의적 인식론, 인지발달 이론, 시민성의 함양, 교수학습의 효과성 측면에서 전개될 것이다. 이러한 논증이 성공을 거둔다면 교실 경제실험은 경험고난도 경제개념에서 뿐만 아니라 일반적인 경제개념의 교수학습에서도 성공적인 교수학습 모형이 될 수 있다는 이론적인 결론에 도달할 수 있을 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Up to the present, concept learning has been one of the most important issues in economic education. The preceding theories about concept learning are based on the theories of category representation which are a branch of cognitive psychology. Recent studies on this field have emphasized the social foundation of cognition including concept formation. That is, higher psychological functions are rooted in the social relation which has been constructed on historical and cultural context. Unfortunately, the previous perspectives don't reflect the current trend of the result of psychological research. Accordingly, the alternative instructional model for economic concepts should be requested.
From this point of view , this article suggests that classroom experimental economics should be the alternative model. all the more, the main argument of this paper is that the experiment economics is to be the most appropriate model teaching the economic concepts, under the consideration of constructivism epistemology. theory of cognitive development, citizenship education (educating the reflective, competent, and morally mature citizen), and instructional effectiveness. Then, we display an example for the experimental economics focusing on 'demand and supply' into the bargain. the empirical research seems to be able to be complemented in the future.
