발달심리학적 관점에서 본 자기의 발달 = Self-Development from the Viewpoint of Developmental Psychology

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this article the concept of 'self' and 'ego' were examined in view of the developmental psychology. Summing up the stream of researches on the ego was analysed according to the viewpoint of psychoanalytic, behavioristic and humanistic psychology, the development of ego and self was discussed in order to explored the meaning of them. This article traced the development of children's knowledge about the self and other people and has focused on the growth of some personal attributes that are very important contributions to one's self concept. Finally we have discussed briefly the topic of personality maturation connected with self concept, and have concluded that understanding the self can take a shorter route to understand the personality.
