에니어그램 성격유형을 활용한 가톨릭 교회 여신도들의 영적 자아발견에 관한 체험분석 = Centering around Analysis on Lay Women's Experiences of their Spiritual Selves

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 가톨릭교회 여성평신도들의 영적자아발견여정에 에니어그램 성격유형의 특성이 어떻게 관련되어 있는가를 알아보고자 하였다. 가톨릭교회 여성평신도들 가운데서 에니어그램 성격유형에 해당하는 연구 참여자 9명을 선정하였다. 참여자들은 영성상담을 경험하면서 영적체험을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 체험분석 결과에서는 여성평신도들의 영적자아발견여정에 에니어그램 성격유형의 특성이 깊이 관련되어 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 첫째, 연구 참여자들의 영적자아발견여정에서 ‘감각의 밤’이, 에니어그램 성격유형의 거짓자아상에 따른 감정패턴의 악습에 대한 자각체험과 관련성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 연구 참여자들의 ‘감각의 밤’을 통한 고통의 정화체험이, 에니어그램 성격유형에 따라 형성된 거짓자아상의 투사를 철회함으로써 일어나는 고통체험과 관련성이 높은 것으로 밝혀졌다. 셋째, 연구 참여자들의 ‘감각의 밤’을 통한 조명체험이, 에니어그램 성격유형의 덕 또는 신성한 이상에 접근한 체험과 관련성이 높은 것으로 밝혀졌다. 끝으로 연구의 의의와 제한점들이 논의되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aim of this study is to find out how the Enneagram Personality Types are connected with the journey to the awareness of spiritual self of Catholic lay women. The participants of this research are Catholic middle aged lay women(39-69) corresponding each Enneagram Personality Types. Through the spiritual counseling, they had passed a process of new awareness of the spiritual self, observing and reporting their experiences about human relationship and work through all the life experience. In the result of the analysis of their experiences, it was found that Enneagram personality Types were connected with Catholic lay women's journey to the awareness of the spiritual life. First, it showed that Catholic lay women's awareness of their spiritual -self or 'the night of sense' was highly connected with vices of the pattern of feelings followed to the false-self-image of Enneagram personality Types. Second, the purification experience of lay women's sufferings through 'the night of senses' were highly connected with the experience of sufferings caused by retracting of projection of their false-self-image formed by Enneagram personality Types. Third, lay women's experience of illumination through 'the night of senses' was connected with experience approched to the virtues of Enneagram personality Types or divine ideal. Finally. limitation of study was discussed.
