초등학교 상담교사의 역할 모형 구안 = The Role Model for the Elementary School Counselor

The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of elementary school counselor. The research questions were formulated as follows; (1) What are the factors composing the role of elementary school counselor? (2) What is the role of elementary school counselor of perceived by elementary school teacher? (3) What is the role of elementary school counselor of perceived by elementary school administrator? The research subjects were 222 elementary school teachers and 351 elementary school administrators in Pusan, Kimhae, Ulsan. The factor analysis and analysis of covariance structure by AMOS 4.0 were employed to examine the research questions. The results of the study were as follows; (1) The role of elementary school counselor was defined by 6 factors. The 6 factors were Development and application of guidance curriculum for school and classrooms, System support for guidance, Administrational affairs for school counseling, Individual and group counseling, Educational services for teachers and parents, Information services for children. (2) In elementary school teachers, the role of elementary school counselor was identified by 6 factors. (3) In elementary school administrators, the role of elementary school counselor was identified by 6 factors.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 지금까지 교과지도의 부수적인 활동으로만 인식되어왔던 종래의 생활지도를 교육과정 속에 도입하여 초등학생들의 전인적 발달을 돕는 학교상담체제 마련을 위해 초등학교 상담교사의 역할 모형 구안에 대한 연구를 하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 초등학교 상담교사의 역할에 대한 문헌연구와 초등학교 교사에 의한 비구조화된 설문조사를 통해 초기 문항을 구성하였으며, 다시 전문가 평정을 통해 초등학교 상담교사의 역할에 대한 요구 문항을 제작하였다. 제작된 문항은 초등교사 222명, 초등학교 행정가(교장 및 교감) 351명, 전체 573명을 대상으로 자료를 수집한 후 문항의 평균 점수, 문항총점 간 상관을 근거로 문항선별을 하였고, 문항선별과정을 통해 추출된 문항들을 요인분석 하였다. 요인분석의 결과, 여섯 요인을 추출하였으며, 여섯 요인은 학교 및 학급 생활지도를 위한 교육과정 조직과 실행, 전반적인 생활지도 체제에 대한 지원, 학교상담 관련 행정업무, 개별 및 집단상담, 교사교육 및 부모교육, 아동이해를 위한 정보제공으로 명명하였다. 여섯 요인에 대한 각각의 신뢰도와 문항 타당도는 양호하게 나타났다. 또한 초등학교 교사와 학교행정가가 지각하는 상담교사 역할에 대한 하위영역의 구조를 알아보기 위하여 AMOS 4.0에 의한 요인구조모형과 적합도 지수를 확인한 결과, 초등학교 교사와 학교행정가 두 집단 모두 상담교사의 역할에 대한 하위영역인, 여섯 요인에 대하여 타당한 결과를 얻었다. 이러한 결과는 우리나라 초등학교 상담체제 구축을 위한 중요한 근거 자료로서의 의미가 있다.
