Learning organization is where there is continuous growth and performance improvement in all levels of the organization by systematically adapting to the changes of the environment. This research focused on measuring the construct of learning organization in terms of Senge`s five constructs of learning organization. 92 measurement items were developed through literature review. The survey data was collected from 251 workers in 5 different Korean companies. Using SPSS 15.0, five factors were extracted through principal axis factoring method and Kaiser`s rule, and the factors were rotated by direct oblimin method. Construct validity was obtained through confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) by Amos 7.0. The values of the indices were CMIN/DF=1.911, RMSEA=.060, TLI=.903, and CFI=.919, which were all acceptable compared to the cutoff values and indicated well-fitting model. As the result of the research procedure presented above, the valid measurement for constructs of Senge`s learning organization in Korean business context was developed. The items in this study reflect the dimensions of the individual, team, and organization as mentioned by Senge. Specifically, individual dimension include personal mastery and systems thinking which are measured through self-measuring items. And team learning items are developed to measure other workers` attitudes and actions, while the measurement items for the organization dimension, mental models and shared vision, measure organizational structure and system. More implications of the measurement and also some limitations of the present research are discussed.
